Both Dr. Makiya Mohalhal Khalaf and Dr. Nayef Mohsen Aziz in Ecology Department at Science College, University of Basra participated in a ministerial committee that was held at Al-Qadisiyah University.

The participation included looking into the topic of introducing a doctorate study in environmental sciences at the College of Science at the University of Al-Qadisiyah.

The committee made a field visit to the college to see the material and human capabilities and the availability of the conditions stipulated in the instructions of postgraduate studies No. 26 of 1990.
