The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (the preventative importance of effective compound in medicinal plants and it is role statement as an antioxidant ) by the graduate master student shams mohammed abdalrasoul   The study included the most important antioxidant compound and it benefits , resources , classificationand and  its role statement as free radicals elimination in the human body  and the study was also include the volatile oils role as an antioxidant with some examples .
