A seminar in Basrah University on (Geophysical and hydrogeological study to investigate the effects of subsurface structures on the groundwater resources in Salman zone within AL- Muthana Governorate, Iraq) held in the College of Science in Geology Department,  The researcher Aqeel Rahman Hasan demonstrated the most important objectives of the study: by studying the structural, and hydrogeological properties of Salman zone from available data, assessment the effects of subsurface structures on the overlying sedimentary cover using gravity and magnetic data. and evaluate the physical and chemical properties of the groundwater and its relationship with the structural features.
