Under the patronage and direct supervision of the College of Science administration at the University of Basrah and the Department of Mathematics, the College has launched an extensive greening and rehabilitation campaign for all gardens and spaces surrounding the department. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to support a sustainable campus environment and provide a suitable atmosphere for students.
The campaign saw active participation from faculty members, staff, and student volunteers. It included the planting of various floral seedlings and ornamental plants suited to the region’s climate, as well as the reorganization of pathways and the restoration of irrigation systems for the gardens.
