The dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Ali Abdul Imam Abdul Zahra, honored two teachers from the Department of Geoscience, namely Dr. Alaa Mohsen Attiya for his efforts as a member of the editorial board of Basrah Journal of Science  and Dr. Maher Mandeel Mahdi for his efforts as a member of the promotions committee. This honor came in recognition of their outstanding scientific and administrative performance and their duties within the two committees.
