On the occasion of the International Day of geological diversity and geological reserves on October 6 every year..The Department ofgeology at the college of science conducted an awareness-raising scientific trip for professors and students of the department to mount Sanam south of Basrah.To draw attention to the need to preserve and increase attention to this natural reserve, which there is no such in Iraq.The students conducted a voluntary cleaning campaign in partnership with the municipality of Safwan for a part of the region to deliver this important awareness message.
