The teaching at the Faculty of Science at Basra University, Mr. Moataz Hikmat Othman, was issued in the Department of Ecology, an article entitled Fuel Stations.

The article, which included a detailed explanation of air pollution, and its causes, dealt with the presence of oil fields in the country, especially in Basra Governorate, and the increase in the percentage of cars in the public, which led to an increase in the use of fuel stations and an increase in the percentage of pollution from exhausts for vehicles to 55%, which is considered one of the sources of pollution with heavy and toxic metals .

The article was published in the Iraq news agency “SKY”, which summarized how environmental pollution spread from the presence of fuel stations and recommended several stories that would reduce pollution and how to set controls for cars and environment.
