A lecturer at the College of Science at the University of Basra, Mr. Moataz Hikmat Othman, in the Department of Ecology, published an article entitled “Environmentally friendly industry is a step towards a green economy.”

The article included a detailed explanation of the concept of green industry, its benefits, meeting human needs, and social and economic development.

The article was published in the Iraqi “sky” news agency, which outlined examples of green industries, their requirements for technologies and funds, how to promote environmentally friendly products, and how to recycle them.
