The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a workshop on air and noise pollution in cooperation with the Department of Environmental Protection and Improvement in the Southern Region.

The workshop aimed to explain the risks that living organisms face as a result of the negative effects of air pollution on groups of living organisms in the environment.

The workshop, which was lectured by Dr. Nayef Mohsen Aziz, a lecturer in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science, included an explanation of the sources and effects of air pollutants and noise in Basra Governorate and the mechanisms for solution.
