The College of Science at the University of Basra organized a symposium on the role of Muslim women in spreading culture and awareness in society, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Presidency of the University of Basra.

The symposium aimed to clarify the role of Muslim women in spreading culture and awareness as they are the nucleus of society and the influential element in society’s morals.

The symposium included how to build a Muslim family, preserve the teachings of the Islamic religion, and reject the wrong practices rumored on social media sites that have nothing to do with Islam.

The symposium recommended intensifying seminars related to Muslim women’s affairs and their effective role in society.
