Two research papers were submitted by a research team, in the College of Science, which consists of three teaching staff in the Mathematics Department: Dr.  Muhammad Khalaf Abdullah, Dr. Khaldoun Saad Ghaleb, and Dr.  Hussein Ali Hussein. The team is interested in functional analysis, numerical analysis, and ordinary and partial differential equations. These papers have been published in two journals classified within the Scopus database: Baghdad Science Journal and Iraqi Journal of Science. The first study is about the solutions of nonlinear Sturm-Liouville problems. The second study is a generalization of the spaces of bounded measurable functions in the sense of Quaternion algebra.
