The Department of Earth Science organized a scientific visit for a group of department students to the National Construction Center in Basrah for the purpose of informing the students about soil testing devices and methods for analyzing samples within the framework of the practical curriculum for the industrial rocks course. The visit was supervised by professors:  Dr.. Raed Aziz Mahmoud, Dr. Yasmine Ibrahim Khalaf, and   Dr.. Urgent Sawin Yassin, in addition to a number of participating professors.
