The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra hosted a workshop on using body language in university lectures.
The workshop aimed to activate body language as an effective language in the university lecture, which is considered one of the most important bridges that the university professor must build with the student in order to communicate the scientific material.
The workshop, which was lectured by Dr. Ola Mohamed Nour, a lecturer at the College of Pharmacy, included an introductory to body language, ways to use this language inside the hall, how to use and control the voice, its layers, and vocal pauses while explaining the lecture.
The workshop recommended that teachers, especially new ones, should learn this language.
