Dr. Harith Abdel Halim Sukkar, a lecturer in the College of Science /Geology Department, participated in a committee to discuss a master’s thesis by student Ghassan Faisal Mazal, which was entitled (Mineral and geochemical properties of clay deposits, Basiya area, southern Iraq: their potential as an industrial raw material) in the College of Science/University of Diyala. The thesis aimed to conduct a mineral and geochemical study of clay deposits in the Busayya area/Muthanna Governorate in southern Iraq and the extent of their potential as an industrial raw material.
