The University of Basrah and the Arabian Gulf Academy for Maritime Studies signed a memorandum of joint scientific cooperation in several areas that will develop education, training and expertise between the two parties to benefit the university students and graduates and the public sector, which represents the largest weight in the Iraqi economy, where the agreement was signed by the president of the University Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi with the president of the Academy, Marine Major General Alaa saber Hajim.
