Within the activities of the second cultural week between the University of Basra and the University of
Ferdowsi an introductory seminar on the Central Library at Ferdowsi University was held at the secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Basra, delivered by Dr. Behrouz Mehram, head of the library and head of publishing at the University, in the presence of Dr. Alireza Saadat, head of Public Relations at the University .Dr. Mehram touched upon the nature of the library's work and the definition of its departments and the services it provides to students and researchers. he also mentioned the controls of publishing scientific research in local and international periodicals and the extent of their impact on the University's ranking among international universities.
