A teacher from the University of Basrah participates in the international scientific conference at the University of Tikrit

Prof. Dr. Maher Mandil participated in the Third International and Fifth Scientific Conference at the University of Tikrit, where he presented a scientific research in the field of Stratigraphy and Paleontology with his PhD student Falah Hassan Hussein, under the title: (Middle Eocene Succession of Dammam Formation, Biostratigraphy and microfacies study, North Karbala Area, West Iraq). The research included a sedimentary and fossil study of the most important facies and fossils of the Dammam Formation in order to reach the final environment deposited for the Formation.

A PhD thesis at the University of Basra discusses the collision of electrons and positrons with the molecules NF, NF2, NF3, CO2, C2H6, HCN, CF3I, CHI3, and AsBr3.
