The Department of Geology at the University of Basra hosted students of the Department of Geology at the University of Dhi Qar on a field work trip to Mount Sanam, which was supervised by a number of professors of the two departments. The trip included roaming in various areas of the mountain and studying the various and distinctive rock layers and discoveries in this geological structure.
