The lecturer in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science, Dr. Nayef Mohsen Aziz, participated in the final conference of the Legislation Program for the Protection and Treatment of Environmental Pollutants in Basra Governorate.

The workshop included holding a joint dialogue session between the Nissan Institute for Democratic Awareness and the University of Basra - Department of Ecology in the College of Science, to discuss a working paper on air pollution in Basra Governorate, and to address the most effective solutions to address air pollution and reduce the severity of pollutants.
