A seminar entitled Improving water quality using some physical treatments hold at College of Science, Department of ecology.

The Presenter Nada Ibrahim Sawad demonstrates the most important objectives of study to collect raw water samples from Shatt Al-Arab and water samples from the wastewater treatment plant at the University of Basra and expose them to some physical treatments under laboratory conditions and make changes in the conditions of the experiment to determine the best ones in the treatment process.

The study included an introduction to the series of physical treatments for raw water and wastewater used recently and laboratory tests to determine the optimal conditions for these treatments and the ensuing encouraging and verifiable results for improving and treating water.
