The Department of Biology - College of Science - Basra University held an electronic workshop on the topic of ethics of scientific research and ethics of laboratory animals on 10-11-2020. The presenter is Dr. Sana Jamil Thamer. The workshop discusses several axes, the first one is the definition of the ethics in scientific research and its principles, the mechanisms for monitoring ethics that include instructional lectures, forming committees, and setting controls for scientific publishing. Medical research with regard to the researcher, the health institution, volunteers and the form of consent to participate in the research and ethics of dealing with laboratory animals and using them in scientific experiments to improve the quality of research.
