Dr. Nayyef Mohsin Azeez, a lecturer in the Department of Ecology, participated in a workshop on the Planetary Security Initiative and the impact of climate change on Iraq. A number of academics attended the workshop and NGOs interested in environmental activism, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Iraq.
