Prof .Dr.Makia Mohalhul Khalaf discussed doctoral thesis submitted by student Ahmmed Razzaq Khudair  in the College of Agriculture , University of Basrah The study included spraying two types of plants with glutathione to increase the phytoremidation  at two types of soil contaminated with crude oil in Basra Governorate . The results showed a significant increase in the plant treatment process, as well as an increase in the number of bacteria and fungi that degraded  oil in polluted soil that planted by with studied plantsand spray with glutathione for treating crude oil contaminated soils
