University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on the Design of Molecular nanosensors for Medical Applications Using the Molecular Quantum Mechanics Approach

The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled Design of Molecular Nano-Sensors for Medical Applications Using the Molecular Quantum Mechanics Approach, presented by the postgraduate student Rasha Hani Hameed. The study aims to explore innovative strategies that include the design of highly sensitive and efficient glucose nanosensors for medical diagnostics. It also includes the development of nanogas sensors capable of detecting hydrogen sulfide, a toxic and hazardous gas that requires precise monitoring in various industrial and environmental applications. In addition, the study includes the advancement of effective nanodrug delivery systems for the treatment of COVID-19, aiming to enhance the efficiency of drug delivery to target cells while minimizing potential side effects
