
The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (plant secondary metabolites, their importance, and applications) by graduate student Zahraa Hajim Abdulqader.The study aims to identify the active compounds present in plants and how these compounds can be utilized in defense, pathogen resistance, and interactions with organisms, as well as their effects on other living and included the types of secondary metabolites, their significance, and their positive and negative impacts on humans and animals, along with their various applications.
