The Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science at the University of Basra organized a scientific lecture entitled Optical Encryption Systems, delivered by the lecturer Dr. Emad Abdul Zahra Mohammed. The lecture aims to introduce the techniques that use light to encrypt data or documents in a way that is difficult to decrypt or access without using the appropriate tools. The lecture also included a review of the basic concepts of optical encryption systems and their types, in addition to the most prominent fields and applications in which they are used. The lecture also included the latest developments and innovations in this field.
