The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled(Nicotine promotes biofilm formation in bacterial Rhinosinusitis ) by the graduate student Gufran Ali Fairuz. The study aims are to investigate the effect of nicotine on the bacterial growth , biofilm formation and aggregation of cell in patients with rhinosinusitis and included the effect of smoking and its harmful  on human health , cancers and chronic diseases causes by smoking nicotine and the treatments to get rid of infection and complications.
