The Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Mowaffaq Fadel Al-Shahwan, met with Mr. Ahmed Moayad and Mr. Ahmed Emad Al-Jarrah of the Halliburton Oil Services Company.

“The two sides discussed the possibility of training students of the Department of Geology for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, by holding training courses during the summer break, providing the department with different software in petroleum geology, and also providing the laboratories with the required computers to install these software.” Al-Shahwan said.

“A second visit will take place to confirm the means of cooperation between the company and the Department of Geology.” Al-Shahwan added.
