The College of Science in the Department of Mathematics discussed a seminar entitled Large (k,3)-arcs in PG(2,19) and the related linear codes for postgraduate student Islam Adel. The seminar aims to give some basic definitions and results about (k,3)-arcs and the corresponding codes. The major aim of this study is to find large sizes for the complete (k,3)-arcs using the method of secants distributions.
