A master’s thesis in the College of Science discussing plant extracts and their resistance to salt stress

The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a master's thesis on the green synthesis of nanoparticles using plant extracts and testing them in resistance to salt stress of some aquatic plants.

The study by student Malak Khalaf Dayesh showed the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using plant leaf extracts of the Shafallah and sea thistle plants, and their use in resisting salt stress of the chamblane plant and improving the properties of the aquatic environment.

The study recommended the necessity of using environmentally friendly materials in environmental treatments that have low, available costs and do not cause any harmful effects on the environment.
