The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a workshop on basics of laboratory safety as part of a skills development program for graduate students.

The workshop aimed to introduce graduate students to the foundations of laboratory work and occupational safety within research laboratories.

The workshop, in which Dr. Mustafa Abdel Wahab Negm lectured, included an overview of maintaining public safety within laboratories, the success of laboratory work, and avoiding errors that may occur within scientific laboratories.
