rsity of Basrah (Histological and biochemical study on effect of essential oils two medical plants on cardiovascular, kidney and adrenal glands of rats), and showed the researcher's thesis (Duaa Abd Al-Azem Amran).

The study aims was conducted, to Extraction and isolation the chemical compounds of (Cinnamomum zeylanicum and Zingiber officinale), estimation of biochemical parameters (Urea, Creatinine, Triglyceride, Troponin, Renin, and Aldosterone , study of histological changes in the liver, kidney, adrenal gland, and cardiac muscle in treated group rats.

and included studying the side effects caused by the drug atenolol, which has been widely used in the recent period to treat high blood pressure, on the tissues of the heart, kidneys, liver, and adrenal gland and comparing them with the preventive role of cinnamon and ginger oil. It is preferable to take the essential oils of cinnamon and ginger to reduce the percentage of fat in people who take the drug atenolol, as well as to reduce side effects on the tissues of the liver, kidneys, heart, and adrenal gland.
