The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a scientific trip for the students of the Animal Environment course 205 for the students of the second stage for morning study.
The visit was to the Natural History Museum of the University of Basra to inform the students of the method of preserving organisms using the mummification method and the types of organisms that inhabit the Iraqi environment.
The visit was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Anfas Nima Akash, a teaching assistant in the Ecology Department, to enrich the practical aspect by applying science on the ground, which leads to enhancing students’ confidence in the science they are studying.
