Ph. D thesis at the faculty of sciences at the University of Basraha (Histopathological , Immunohistochemical and Biochemical markers Associated with Colorectal Carcinoma in Basrah Province) by the graduate student Israa Yousif Ezzulddin . The study aims to find the relationship between the different stages of the disease and compare it with the diagnosis biomarkers levels in tissue and included taking a group of tissue samples from patients with colorectal cancer and examining the levels of biomarkers in tissues and comparing that with the various pathological stages of the disease and the study was recommended the efforts and necessity of applying a serious screening program in Iraqi healthy centers with adopting a professional awareness programs for CRC early detection also health education campaigns should be initiated to raise awareness on the significance of early detection of CRC and the relationship with disease aggressiveness.

As well molecular studies on some (CRCs) are characterized by overexpression of the variable oncogenes and respond to the appropriate targeted therapy with other proteins molecular markers must be determined , furthermore attention must be taken with any morphological signs and macroscopically changes in colon ,rectum and surrounding tissues and goal of future research is to identify those biomarkers that could allow a non – invasive and cost-effective diagnosis, as well as to recognize the best prognostic panel and define the predictive biomarkers for available treatments.
