University of Basra discusses a master’s thesis (The magnetic effect on dye solar cells)

A master’s thesis was discussed in the College of Science at the University of Basra, entitled (The magnetic effect on the performance of dye solar cells based on nano-zinc oxide tinged with some magnetic ferrite compounds) by the student Nour Abdul Salam Abdullah on Sunday, 29/10/2023, and the number of chapters was 4. The study aims to study the advantages of dye-based solar cells (ZnO) and improve their efficiency by applying an internal and external magnetic field to the cell. The study included 4 axes: solar cells without applying a magnetic field, solar cells with only an external magnetic field, solar cells with only an internal magnetic field, and solar cells. By projecting both the internal and external fields together, the study found an increase in the efficiency of the solar cell when the internal magnetic field is applied once and the external magnetic field is applied again. If both fields are applied together on the solar cell, the increase in efficiency is greater than by applying only the external magnetic field or the internal magnetic field Just.
