A seminar entitled Biodegradation of Azo dyes by fungi, hold at the College of Science, Department of Ecology

The seminar, represented by master's student Rihab Razzaq Hamid, aimed to assess the fungi's ability to degrade Congo red and Methyl orange

The seminar dealt with the impact of some factors on Azo dyes biodegradation, examined the toxicity of these dyes and the effectiveness of the biodegradation in reducing their toxicity

The seminar recommended that the toxic effects of Azo dyes on human beings be publicized as they are used in many industries that fall within the scope of our daily lives
