Master Thesis at Basrah University to be discussed (Determination Interleukin 33, Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin, Suppression of tumorigenicity 2, Chemokine CCL24, Total IgE and Eosinophils Among Patients with Allergic Asthma in Basrah Province)

A master's thesis at the faculty of Science at the University of Basrah (Determination Interleukin 33, Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin, Suppression of tumorigenicity 2, Chemokine CCL24, Total IgE and Eosinophils Among Patients With Allergic Asthma In Basrah Province), and showed the researcher's thesis (Mahmoud Sameer Mohamed Nuhad) The importance of the role of Interleukin 33 and Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin and their receptors in the pathogenesis of asthma. Thesis aims to the study designed to investigate the role of IL-33 / TSLP and their receptors in the course of asthma pathogenesis related with induction of Th2 response and eosinophilia in patients with allergic asthma in Basrah province. And concluded a significant association of eosinophils with variants (IL-33, ST2, TSLP, TSLPR and CCL24) was observed. In addition, the levels of interleukin 33 and TSLP and its receptors were high in asthmatic patients compared to control samples. IL-33 plays important roles in allergic diseases mainly by constructing the activation of various ST2-expressing cells and the production of various immunological factors. The high and significant significance of CCL24 coefficient was the clear feature of asthma patients compared to control samples. And recommended (the study should be done on TSLP and IL-33 gene polymorphism).
