The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a workshop on sustainable building

The workshop, which was held in the Ecology Department, in cooperation with the Basra Cultural Visions Foundation, aimed to introduce sustainable construction and its importance in protecting and preserving the environment.

The workshop, in which the architect Mustafa Majed Hashem lectured, included how to reduce the energy required for cooling and lighting in buildings and the most important materials used in them.
