The lecturer in the Department of Ecology in the College of Science at the University of Basra, Dr. Makiya Muhalhal Khalaf, participated in the discussion of the doctoral thesis of student Ali Jasib Bader tagged "Wastewater treatment using the dissolved air flotation technique and its reuse for irrigating the barley crop and its impact on soil and plant pollution", which was joined by the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra. As the thesis dealt with a discussion of how to treat wastewater and reuse it in irrigation.
