A master's thesis in the Department of Ecology, College of Science, University of Basra, discussed the effect of crude oil on some biochemical and anatomical characteristics of two types of submersible plants.

The thesis of the student, Retaj Asaad Naji Al-Hamoudi, included knowing the effect of different concentrations of crude oil on the biochemical and anatomical properties of two types of submersible aquatic plants and carrying out physical and chemical tests for water.

The thesis aims to show the extent of the effect of crude oil on some characteristics of two types of submersible plants and the ability of these plants to bear and accumulate crude oil.
