The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Smart Academy, organized a workshop on self-employment between reality and ambition.

The workshop aimed to develop the skills of fourth-year students and recent graduates. The workshop, which was attended by the consulting engineer, Mr. Muhannad Al-Sammak and Dr. Nayef Mohsen Aziz, lecturer in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science, included an explanation of the mechanisms of qualification for appointment to companies and what are the requirements that companies need to have the department’s graduates qualified to work in these companies.

The workshop, which was held in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, recommended the training courses required for students and how to obtain them for the purpose of appointment.
