Master Thesis at Basraha University to be discussed gene expression of suppressor cytokines signaling and asthma

A master's thesis at the faculty of College of Science at the University of Basraha Gene Expression Of Suppressor Cytokines Signaling Associated With Asthma , and showed the researcher's thesis Hanya B. Makttoof. Thesis aims to investigate the role of SOCS (SOCS1 & SOCS3) on a molecular level and the production of several cytokines during asthma and concluded  That levels of IL-17 and IL-31 were elevated in AS patients There were positive correlations between IL-6, IL-17 and BMI while no correlation was found between IL-31 and BMI suggesting that the elevation might be affected by factors other that BMI and The highest expression levels of SOCS3 found in the heterozygote genotype CA/del,and There was a slight effect of SOCS3 expression on IL-17 production the both genotypes with del allele (CA/del and del/del), The effect of SOCS3 expression were obvious on IL31 production in all SOCS1 genotypes .the study recommended that Profiling of asthma patients in Basrah according to different cytokines andaccording the genotypes of the other SOCS1 polymorphisms as well as the polymorphisms of  other SOCS proteins in asthma and Investigate the gene expression of other SOCS proteins in asthma and investigate their correlation with other various pro-inflammatory cytokines andConducting detailed experiments regarding understanding the correlation between asthma and BMI and between asthma and asthma.
