A master’s thesis at the College of Science at the University of Basra discussed (The Effect of Chemical Agents on Biofilm Formation of Bacteria Isolated from Women with Genital Diseases). The thesis of the researcher (Israa Sami Othman) included isolating and diagnosing bacteria that cause gynecological diseases and testing the effect of some antibiotics on them, then studying some of their virulence factors. The study aims to identify the virulence and antibiotic resistance of the isolating bacteria, study the growth rate of E. coli and E. faecalis, as well as determine the Quorum Sensing luxS gene from E. faecalis, and recommended molecular studies of the diversity between vaginal microbes and their association with bacterial vaginosis. As well as trying to study the relationship between vaginal bacteria and miscarriage.
