A Master thesis titled (the effect of geotechnical and technical factors in road of Basrah governorate – southern Iraq) held in the College of Science in Geology Department. The researcher (Fatima Qusay Khairallah) demonstrated the most important objectives of study and presentation of the nature of the surface soils in Basrah Governorate, in addition to a statement of the distribution of soils with problems (gypsum, swelling, organic, and weak) and their impact on the sustainability and stability of roads.
