A master thesis defense discusses the effectiveness of some polyaniline compounds as adsorbents for wastewater pollutants

A master thesis defense at the university of Basrah, College of Science, Department of Chemistry,  discusses the effectiveness of some polyaniline compounds as adsorbents for waste water pollutants. The M.Sc. Scientist, Bayader, Dawood, Salman, has explained that some polyaniline derivatives (polyp- toluidine, polyp- ansidine, polyp- amino phenol) were used as adsorbants for wastewater pollutants, in this study. The spectroscopic method was used to monitor the adsorption process using Ultraviolet – Visible spectroscopy.  In addition, the effect of the initial concentration, pH, the Wight of the adsorbent surface and temperature on the amount adsorption, were evaluated. Moreovere, the thermodynamic parameters (∆H , ∆ S , ∆G) of the adsorption of dyes were determined.
