The College of Science at Basra University organized a seminar (Biofuels from Algae) for Ph.D. student Haya Abd Shaker. The study aims to explain the damages resulting from the use of fossil fuels and the necessity to search for other alternative sources less harmful than it, which are renewable energy. The possibility of producing them using the local types of the environment of Basra Governorate, while studying the physical properties of the resulting fuel.
