A seminar entitled’’Study of the physical properties of some liquid crystalline compounds’’ hold at the College of Science, Department of physics. 

The presenter Abass Yakup Keralah demonstrates the most important objectives of study the definition of liquid crystals, their types, and types of liquid crystal phases. The lecture also included a review of the types of organic compounds that can show liquid crystal phases, and then a review of the most important physical properties that must be studied for the purpose of using these compounds in some applications
