A master's thesis was discussed in the College of Science at the University of Basrah entitled (Isolation, Identification and Screening of Some Virulence Factors of Helicobacter pylori ) by the graduate student( Zainab Naser Mohammad) and the number of its chapters three. The study aims to identify the H. pylori that infects humans, its causes and treatment, which is one of the common diseases that target humans. The study included the dangers of this bacteria, its complications, and its presence in The epithelial wall of the stomach is the cause of many acute and chronic infections, as well as the ulcers of the stomach wall in addition to subsequent cancerous diseases. One of the most important ways to prevent and control the disease is early diagnosis to detect the presence of pathogenic germs using routine and molecular methods so that the necessary treatment can be carried out. The study was by extracting bacteria toxins and testing cytotoxicity on normal cell lines and cancer cells, and observing the growth of cancer cells. The study showed that the percentage of inhibition was 50%. The extract was also tested by injecting mice and observing histological changes of body organs. The study recommended studying the genetic diversity of each of the genes Vac A and Cag A and linking This diversity of diseases of the digestive system, especially ulcers Gastrointestinal diseases and stomach cancer and the search for the mechanism of bacterial transmission and limiting its spread.
