A seminar entitled wastewater treatment of heavy metals by using constructed wetlands hold at the college of science, department of Ecology.

The presenter Abdulrahman Yousif Yaqoob showed how the study proved that some of the designs used were efficient in removing turbidity and total suspended solids as well as heavy metals. The seminar addressed the recommendation to use this type of systems as decentralized treatment systems and study the efficiency of the systems in reducing industrial pollutants.
