The Department of Geology, College of Science, University of Basrah organized a scientific trip to the laboratories of Nahran Omar in the Basrah Oil Company (BOC) for graduate students (Oil Group). This was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Fahd Mansour Saqr, Dr. Amna Malallah Jaafar, and Dr. Bassem Hamid Sultan. The purpose of the trip is to visit several laboratories such as the cutting laboratory, the slide laboratory, and the chemical analysis laboratory. In addition, the postgraduate students have started the process of collecting samples from the oil wells that they need in their projects, after obtaining official approvals.
